10 days on skins, made in the style of a dark Southern Italian rosato / Cerasuolo, then 20 months in old barrels of mixed size, zero SO2. Nate: “earth, meat and floral essences; wild dark berries with orange and cardoon, smoke and savoriness. Taste: tart wild berry, peppercorn, orange peel and cardoon infused in an ancient leather flask.”
