A Southwest-French field blend, primarily Merlot (38 different heirloom clones), from a 0.2-hectare plateau in the northeast corner of the farm exposed to wind and western sun. Whole-cluster, foot-trodden in an open-top wooden vat and pressed with a small ratchet press.
