An exploration of mixing many grape colors: a ~1-acre plateau of volcanic sand on the banks of the Columbia planted to all 13 ancient Châteauneuf-du-Pape grapes with a higher share of the unusual white and pink varieties than usual, so the wine “combines the best qualities of white, red and rosé.” Bottled early each spring.
